Kos   Pictures is pleased to announce its aquisition of an historic archive   of yachting, powerboating and superyacht material from IPC Media,  owners  of many sailing publications including Yachting World. 
&nbsp;
The   archive contains over 800,000 images and dates back to 1928. The large   format glass plates are in the process of being scanned and are being   upoloaded to www.kospictures.com as they are available. The historic   material features J-Class construction, sailmaking at Ratsey &amp;   Lapthorn, and J-Class and metre class racing on The Solent. 
 
You   may purchase prints of these beautiful images on our website in the   normal way through the Print Room. Just register, search &quot;glass plates&quot; and select the image you would like and press the Print button to enter the Print Room. 

In   addition to the above, the IPC Media archive also features thousands  of  model and property released images taken aboard cruising yachts all   over the world. These images are being uploaded and will form a key  part  of the Kos Pictures collection in the coming years.
